😀 the cool greenhouse - get unjaded review
is this thing on?
hello everyone, this review is being written while downing nearly a litre of preworkout so if it's a bit more manic than usual, you're welcome. we've got an indie tune for you! one of those ones with a message and a talking vocalist which is crack to some people, and kryptonite to others so be warned. i think it's neat, and i love that shit, so we're here! meet the cool greenhouse, and their song get unjaded.
click the picture up above to give it a listen!
what i liked! :)
this song has a lot of bits going on. lots of moments where it's having a little wink and a nod to the audience and i kinda like that. between the 'guitar solo' moment where a keyboard solo then lands in to the various moments of witty lyricism add a lot of character and energy to this. that off the back of a really driving high energy track makes this something that grabs your hair and makes you bob and weave. the lengths it'll go to to gain a bit more drama is a lot of fun too. the inclusion of brass towards the end of the track for example, just adds to that manic energy all contrasted by the calm vocals.
what i didn’t like :(
honestly i don't really have anything to criticise here. i think this is one of those tracks that fits perfectly within it's genre, and if that's the kind of thing you're interested in then you'll be there! if not, well, you won't. one of those.
my drunk opinion :S
remember four seasons total landscaping. what a meme
for fans of
im gonna say yard act and you're all gonna grown but i'm right. yard act are good, this band is good, there i said it. one time i got a signed picture of yard act and i put it in my bag forgetting i had a big book in there, so it got crumpled on the way home. still have it. anyway, here's the song they did with elton john.
should you listen to more?
this is a band with a whole ton of good music that fits right in the groove of this song. they've developed their sound, they've got it down and they're making it work. check them out is our recommendation!
more we’ve been listening to
