good morning and welcome back, i’m back at it again. finding you a song and artist i think you’ll love, and then telling you about it. thing i love doing with this is having utterly no consistency with regards to artists. i’m one of those dickheads who if you ask what i listen to i open my mouth and a dialup tone plays because i don’t know man. what i do know is i found this like 8 minute instrumental and i think it rocks and i think you’ll love it. so here you go! ultramarine by delving.

what i liked! :)
the only word i can think of to describe this song for most of it’s runtime is pensive. it spends a lot of it playing with ideas but gently, rather than stating them outright and being like here you go. every new thoguht and idea is instead brought in with almost a sense of resistence. which brings me to the other thing great about this, the new songs and ideas? they absolutely catch you flat footed because where did these come from. that said tho, they sound awesome and really are the kinds of things that you’d hear and then go in hindsight, that’s actually banging. really great song, it did a lot, it came it saw it conquered and there we are.
what i didn’t like :(
i enjoyed this song but i encourage it to go further.

it’s really like if unknown mortal orchestra was just like, a bit more crusty and heavy rather than gentle and laid back.
should you listen to more?
this guy is sick! it is one guy btw like tame impala would you believe, and he’s doing the most. the album this is from is really sick, and the artwork is gorgeous. it’s all this kind of pretty isntrumental rock type of stuff which i really enjoy, and i bet you will too. check out the song the reflecting pool which is like his biggest song.
