premium era

hello!

at the end of every year for the past few years, i’ve done a little update on all things a single song review. a peek behind the curtain on what i’m doing, what’s happening next. well, last year we missed it by quite a margin, given it’s now march. but there have been some exciting things in the works! all of which have just about come together. now it’s time to launch the latest and greatest step on the road to world dominatoin; you haven’t heard of us yet.

what? yes i have, what are you talking about

you haven’t heard of us yet is the name of my new premium service, for the paltry sum of £1.50 per month, you’ll receive;

  1. double the number of reviews every week. that’s double the song reccomendations, double the (imo) excellent writing and double the fun anecdotes.

  2. premium subscribers will be the only subscribers receiving the quickfire round playlists; our massive treasure trove of quarterly musical gems. (free subscribers will still get the monthly playlists tho dw)

  3. premium subscribers will also receive an additional monthly playlist of extra cool songs to check out.

  4. i’m finally launching the devilish details newsletter, a monthly deep dive into a song, exploring why it works, why it doesn’t and how you can apply the lessons from that song to your song writing. on april 14th we’ll be diving into bad blood by taylor swift, showing you how to use minimalism in your song writing. become a premium member to read it!

  5. i’m launching a discord! a place for musicians, music people and industry people to network, get to know each other, find opportunities in the industry and more. become a premium member to join!

  6. i’m changing how people submit songs; now only subscribers can submit songs (and you can always subscribe and then submit), and premium members will increase the likelihood that their song gets picked!

so that’s it! a whole ton of extra content for you, and all for just £1.50 a month. and just to note, you don’t need to do anything if you don’t want to. free subscribers will still be getting a review in their inbox every tuesday, but now there’s a way to go that little bit further and get a whole lot extra. so what do you say?

but wait there’s more!

you might be thinking, okay cool but £1.50 a month? i dunno, and that’s fine! which is why a single song review subscribers like you can get a nice wee introductory offer; 30 days free and if you like the extra content, join premium, if you don’t, don’t! click here to get 30 days free of premium.
