😮 new event: mixtape by a single song review

i’m hosting an event! yes that’s right, the promised event is coming soonnnnnn and it’s gonna be so much fun. as promised, it will be in london, pay-what-you-want or come for free, and it’s happening this october!

where: the brockley brewery - 31 harcourt road london se4 2aj
when: 10 october, ‘24 - doors @ 7.30pm

here’s how it works;

• each event is themed, the theme is missing summer

• if you want to, you can submit a song ahead of time that you want to have played at the event

• the song can be something from a major artist, an underground indie, even your own song but it must match the theme!

• once the pre-submitted songs have been played, we’ll let anyone who has an idea of a song suggest one at the event

• you’ll be invited to introduce the song and tell everyone why it matches the theme to you

• we’ll play out 30s of each song, and everyone can listen to it and check it out

• afterwards, your song will be added to the playlist that will be sent to everyone who attended for you to enjoy (and also to all of the subscribers here who don’t live in london and can’t come down will get it too!)

the event has a capacity of 100, and once that’s full we won’t be able to let anyone else in, so make sure to rsvp ahead of time to guaruntee your spot and get your song submitted. also, if you want to support the newsletter and support having more events like this, this event is pay-what-you want donations, i’d really appreciate it if you could sling something my way!
