gang, it’s march. what’s that all about. 2026 more like 202-slick amirite. we’re slipping and sliding all over the dang place. it’s like i’m covered in. anyway. i want to confess something to you all this month actually. see, often, i find these playlists take a lot longer than you’d think. i have a little baby playlist i dump songs into i think are cool during the month, then i pull them together. do a bit of sleuthing too, check out what’s new and out and good and decent. anyway, point is i take forever doing it honestly. it’ll take me a whole evening to pull together a full playlist (or two, there are two btw, one free, one premium [well, there’s actually 3 but, never mind]).

the reason i’m telling you that is this month? it did take me forever, but not to get all the songs together in a place i was happy with. it took me forever because there’s so much great music out! like seriously what happened? a few years there of alright and decent stuff, few big albums and whatever. but this month everything went a bit nuts! we have track after track, banger after banger. long may it rain i say, it rules. so enjoy, my little collection of tracks i loved from the last few weeks or so.

oh and not to be forgotten of course, submissions! and a lot chunkier this month i’m sure you’ll be glad to see. as promised, i tweaked the set up a touch. now it includes songs that were released and submitted in this calendar month (or so, it’s a little loose). you mayyyy hear some duplicates between this month and last as i iron things out. but they sound great so listen twice i say. and as ever, being featured in the playlist is not a vote against you getting featured in the newsletter, often i use the pllaylist as an easy way to listen to everything if i haven’t already so odds on i’ll feature you later this month.

what did you think of this latest playlist?

do you want more like this? less like this? something else than this? let us know!
