what i liked! :)
the gentle escalation of this song is really something to behold. slowly and deliberately layering in elements by way of giving slightly obscured hints to them is such a cool way to go about drawing a perfectly straight line from where the song starts to where it finishes. at several points in this song, you feel like ohh you've hit a height that it won't be moving on from, but then oop, it's on up! a song that keeps you guessing even after multiple listens is a really well written one, and this is one. all of which is beside the fact that the riff writing, song writing and tone on display here is of an incredibly high standard.
what i didn’t like :(
when i realised what this song was doing, constantly escalating and getting more intense as it went, i kinda wanted to see how far they could push it. while this song does get pretty intense, it doesn't quite get to some really heavy and spacey levels it hints at, and that's a shame.

this is really putting me in a space of remembering when i listened to editors as a kid and thought they were incredible and now listening to them again and realising i was right.
should you listen to more?
