we’ve got a moody but honestly really cathartic track for you all this week. meet yourcuzmarcus, big news, new cousin just dropped. i think i’m scum is their new track, a very lo fi hip hop track with lots of mood an detail on the go. pay close attention to the lyrics too, there’s a lot being said here that is worth listening to.

the creative attention to detail in this song is really great. the huge array of different sonic ideas that together allow a beat and track to slowly rise up out of the vinyl crackle that sits behind this is really great. that slow burn attitude, heralded by a motif that gently wafts throughout the song like a smell of fresh baking anchors the song and sets the stage for a fantastic vocal performance. from the heartfelt lyrics to the maintained accent makes this a unique but really excellent track.

i feel like this song is going somewhere, and doesn’t quite reach it. like there’s an apex to this that’s missing somewhat, but the journey it takes is great tho so hey ho.

this is a great walking home in the rain track i’ll tell you what.

this artist is sickkkkk they’ve got a lot of really cool songs on the go that you should check out! the song obey is their most popular song and for a reason, it’s a really pretty song i liked a lot.
