😀 ali comerford - he knows review
what does he know?
welcome one and all to a... potentially late edition of a single song review. if it hasn't landed in your inbox at 6.30am on tuesday then apologies! computer broke. on the bright side, we have a cracker of a track for you all this week. meet ali comerford, a name you're going to think us later for introducing you to because they're frankly awesome! this song is called he knows, it's a semi acoustic indie song with some cool strings and a nice wee waltz.

what i liked! :)
okay first off, gotta get this out the way; the vocals in this are so good. expressive, gentle, tuneful, it's the full package. also the 6/8 waltz beat to this is inspired. it really adds a sense of energy to a song that could otherwise have felt flat. oh, and the strings? the way they give no hint of their arrival until bam there's some gorgeous strings adding depth and detail? fantastic.
what i didn’t like :(
okay i've listened to this song like 6 more times to find a fault and i've got nada. 10/10, no notes!
my drunk opinion :S
būm bûm bûm, būm bûm bûm, būm bûm bûm

this was a debut when it was submitted! but it's not anymore and thank goodness. this artists got some skills and some great tracks, between the incredible voice, delightful songwriting and clever lyrics are all found in their other tracks, and long may that continue.
